What we keep, and why.
The short version: we keep what you send us so we can reply, we never sell it, and you can have it changed or deleted any time.
Who we are
Brix is a technology studio in Mumbai, India, working with clients worldwide. For anything on this page, write to hello@brix.wtf.
What we collect
| When | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You send the contact form | Name, company (if given), email, phone, when you'd like to start, and your message | To reply to you and talk about your project |
| You join the list | Your email | To send the occasional email when we ship something worth showing |
| You email us | Your email, name and what you write | To reply, and to keep track of our conversation |
We don't use tracking cookies, advertising pixels or analytics on this site. The DJ set on the desk only loads from YouTube if you press play.
Where it's kept
We use a few trusted services to run the site. Each only gets what it needs:
- Supabase: our database, hosted in Mumbai, India.
- Google Sheets: a private copy of form submissions, so we can follow up.
- Resend: sends and receives our email.
- Vercel: hosts the website.
We never sell your details, and we never share them for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and emails: for as long as we're talking, and up to two years after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. After two years of quiet, they're deleted automatically.
- The list: until you unsubscribe, which takes one click from any of those emails. After that we keep only your address, marked as unsubscribed so we never email you by mistake, and delete it two years later.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to hello@brix.wtf and we'll reply within a week.
If something here isn't clear, ask. We'd rather explain it properly than hide it in small print.
